This is my blog about finding The Right "Fit." I'm an avid runner, marathon enthusiast, and fitness experimentalist who uses my little space of the internet to share my passion for and experiences with running and fitness (...and a little about fashion.)

I write mostly about running and my quest to run a marathon in every state and every continent. But you'll also find some information about different fitness classes in the Twin Cities and more.

It was my “PW” time in quite a while (except the wine marathon in Médoc but that doesn’t really count 😆) but after taking several weeks off at an important time of the training block due to a tendon injury (and battling a cold on race day 🤧) I am still proud of myself and happy to have completed another marathon. Thanks to @donalmorancoaching for coaching me through the injury (I’m the first to admit I’m terrible when injured 😑- he’s very patient and thoughtful with his guidance)

Paris is a lovely course, showing off the best parts of the city with brilliant crowd support, good weather (maybe a little warm), followed by a few days in Reims for champagne tasting with @dustinrbenson & @emariecantu made for a memorable experience with lots of laughs 🥳

March in London was actually sunny and warm(ish), making up for the dreary months prior (weather-wise and mentally!)

Started the month with a day trip to hike Seven Sisters (so pretty!), a cautious return to running, a colour analysis (I’m a cool summer!) flowers, birds, a bit more running…and an official extension of our visas, guess we are here for a few more years 🥳

Two weeks off of running (so far), physio, dry needling, shockwave therapy, and sports massage…I’m not sure if I’ll be running the Paris marathon in a few weeks but I’m doing all the spin (Psycle) and pilates (Heartcore) to try to retain a bit of fitness but another bummer month in the sh*tshow year of 2025.
