I spent last weekend in Napa with my four sisters (and three of the husbands who could make it- a few stayed back to take care of their kids!) Dustin and I flew direct from Minneapolis to San Francisco on Thursday evening. We arrived around 9 pm and quickly grabbed our rental car. We coordinated flights with two of my sisters so that we could give them a ride with us. It's close to an hour and a Continue Reading

Introducing a Weekly Link-up!
I’m excited to share that I am teaming with Jess at Jess Run Atlanta to host a weekly link-up for training recaps! Weekly Recap & Linking Up With the Jess’s!
I love sharing my weekly recaps of training here on the blog and a lot of you do the same on your blogs! I feel like it keeps me accountable and is a helpful journal of sorts to use when reflecting on a training season. I hope that the recaps are helpful to any readers who are also training for a race and find value in other athlete's training plans, challenges, and (hopefully) successes! I have Continue Reading

I reached out to my blogger friend Allison from the Continue Reading

Another week of training in the books! I would say it was mostly a successful week. Lots of miles left me very tired each day though, that's for sure. I took naps on both Saturday and Sunday. I'm trying to ensure I'm getting the rest my body needs (which seems to be a lot of rest, ha!) Here's how my training worked out this past week: Monday: My coach's notorious 15-10-10-5 workout.
