I’m excited to share that I am teaming with Jess at Jess Run Atlanta to host a weekly link-up for training recaps! Jess and I connected last year when we were training for and then ran the Richmond Marathon (<--I loved that marathon, highly recommend it!) I have continued to follow her journey on her blog since then. We thought it would be fun to team up, as we both enjoy following other Continue Reading

Training for Big Cottonwood is up and running! I am back up to the high mileage again and excited to see what I can do at the Big Cottonwood Marathon. Here's how my training went this past week: Monday: The same workout as last week at the cabin, but this time I did it in Minneapolis before work- much easier on flat roads! 2 mile warm-up, 6x1200m at a 7:30 pace with 1 minute recovery, 2 Continue Reading

Monday: The Brian Kraft 5k! With 2 miles to warm-up, 3.1 of Continue Reading

Weekly Recap: The Things You Can’t Control.
Here I am, one week out for the Phoenix Marathon. My goal race. So, one week before the marathon, you're supposed to relax, enjoy the taper, try not to stress, stick to your normal routine... This week was basically the opposite of that. No routine. Lots of stress. Not a lot of relaxing. We had to be out of our house to have our floors refinished. (They look fantastic, btw!). We spent Continue Reading
