18 Weeks Until the Boston Marathon 2017!

A lot of marathon training programs are 18 weeks long, so I figured now is the time to start my training and countdown to Boston!  I'm back to working with my coach Antonio and I'm finally over that horrible virus of the past two weeks. Weekly Recap: Winter has arrived.

Marathon #24- complete! On Saturday, September 10th, I crossed my 24th marathon finish line at the Big Cottonwood Marathon.  I ran this race as my last chance BQ (Boston Qualifier). The Big Cottonwood marathon is two weeks away! It’s TAPER TIME! What does that mean? After several months of hard work, the taper is the weeks before a key race where you cut back your mileage and let your muscles repair.
