A year or so ago, I attended a local blogger conference. One of my takeaways was that there is an audience for ALL types of bloggers, (including ones about Fitness and Fitness Fashion!) Yes, there is an audience for all blogs; the problem is that your audience just might not know that you exist yet. So today I have a favor to ask, combined with a giveaway. I want YOU to Continue Reading
Fits Do Race Reviews: The TC 1 Mile
This past Thursday, I raced the TC 1 Mile! This is my fifth time running this race; I ran this race in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2015. In 2014, the race was cancelled due to the weather, otherwise I would have run it then too! Every year, as I nervously wait for the starting gun to go off, I curse this race and say I'll never do it again...why? Because it's hard! It HURTS to go as hard as you Continue Reading

There have been at least three previous owners and the ones before Continue Reading

After coming very close to qualifying for Boston at Richmond, I ramped back up and raced the Phoenix Marathon at the end of February, where I DID qualify for Boston. But, as many of you know, 34 seconds under the Continue Reading
Friday Five: Five Running Documentaries You Should Watch
Today's installment of Friday Five is my top five running documentaries! I love a good documentary, don't you? So the combination of running and a documentary is perfection! Most of the below movies can be found on Netflix, YouTube, etc. 1. Spirit of the Marathon If you are training for your first marathon or your 50th marathon, this movie is inspiring. It's an old one- it came out in 2007. It Continue Reading
