The Right Fits is a blog where Fitness and Fashion meet, but I realize it has been awhile since I did a fitness fashion post. I'm changing that now! After my warm weather work trip was cancelled, I decided to treat myself with some new winter running apparel, and I'm reviewing some of that gear today for you. Depending on what the groundhog tells us on February 2, spring might be on its way. Continue Reading
Weekly Recap: Five Weeks Until the Phoenix Marathon
Starting off this post with a gratuitous picture of Matilda the vizsla. You guys said you wanted more, right? Actually, thanks for all your comments on my naysayers post. I am glad that there are people who find value here! And I definitely don't want to discourage commenters from sharing their opinions- I do welcome a 'healthy' debate, I swear. I did this Continue Reading

Here are some of my tips for getting up in the morning to Continue Reading

Another week, another weekly recap of training for the Phoenix Marathon! Here's how it worked out this week: Monday: Easy 6 miles in the morning with my friend Christie Tuesday: Tough workout after work at run club with my "pacer" Dustin. My coach calls it "15-10-10-5" workout; apparently this workout is kind of notorious with him, as it should be. It was hard! It was 15 minutes at a tempo Continue Reading
