I'm only writing this "review" from the point of view of a spectator. Please share your insights in the comments if you have actual experience with this race! The Minneapolis Marathon is relatively new. Fits Do Race Reviews: TC 1 Mile
By JessieI participated in the TC 1 Mile last week, which was the second time that I ran this unique event. It was a hot, windy Thursday evening. When I met up with two run club friends for a few miles of warmup beforehand, we could tell the conditions were not ideal. The race included multiple "waves," the first of which was the "Friends and Family" wave. Since we were at the start Continue Reading
Favorite Fit: BIC Bands!

This was only the second year of the race, but as a participant, I felt that it was a great success! The race starts and finishes near the TCF Bank stadium on the University of Minnesota campus. Fresh New Fit: Snowboarding and Skiing
By: Cool JLL and I spent 3 full days on the mountains of Big Sky, Montana. It was a lot of fun, but also definitely a "fresh new" fitness endeavor. We both agreed that on an easy run, it's more physically challenging (and in our opinion, you burn more calories) when you are a beginner. LL took a few semi-private lessons with a professional to work on her skills. I'm sure the repetition of the Continue Reading
