Fashion Friday: Stitch Fix Review #9

January 8, 2016 By Jessie Benson 3 Comments

It's time for another detour from Fitness/Running for a quick Stitch Fix review. I'm sure most of you know all about Stitch Fix, but if you don't, check out this post. If you want to try it out, feel free to use my referral code HERE. Basically, you take a style survey. Then you pay $25 to have a stylist pick out a customized “fix” of 5 items to try on. If you like any of the items, the $25 goes Continue Reading

Fashion: Thoughts on “Le Tote” on WCCO!

November 18, 2015 By Jessie Benson 11 Comments

Hi friends! Just a quick note to share an interview that I did with Kate Raddatz at WCCO regarding Le Tote. It aired last night! Though my actual interview was about 45 minutes long, my footage is only about 15 seconds, but still fun to be interviewed on the local news. "Business woman- Jessie Benson!" I have been using Le Tote now for several months. It's similar to Stitch Fix in Continue Reading

I'm taking a little detour today from running and fitness to bring you a quick review of my last Stitch Fix. I received this fix in mid-July, but hadn't had a chance to post a review. But Stitch Fix posts always seem to be popular...a lot of people Google them, so I might as well share mine! If you haven't heard of Stitch Fix, you can get all the details HERE and if you want to try it out, feel Continue Reading

Fashion Friday: Stitch Fix #6

March 13, 2015 By Jessie Benson 3 Comments

Usually this blog is all about fitness but occasionally I like to share a little about fashion too, especially when it comes to Stitch Fix! I think its helpful to see what other people get in their "fixes" so I figured I should share mine. If you're unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, you can read all about it on this post. I generally have enjoyed my Stitch Fixes. I like ordering one every couple of Continue Reading

September 6, 2014 By Jessie Benson 1 Comment

Okay, I know the blog is more of a running blog now, but the Stitch Fix recaps still somehow are kinda popular...so even though my most recent Stitch Fix was a flop, here is the recap for your viewing pleasure/displeasure. I have tried Stitch Fix four times now (past reviews HERE, HERE, and HERE.) If you're unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, this is how it works: 1) Sign up 2) Fill out a style Continue Reading

Thank you for stopping by!

This is my blog about finding The Right "Fit." I'm an avid runner, marathon enthusiast, and fitness experimentalist who uses my little space of the internet to share my passion for and experiences with running and fitness (...and a little about fashion.)

I write mostly about running and my quest to run a marathon in every state and every continent. But you'll also find some information about different fitness classes in the Twin Cities and more.

I quickly went online afterwards & registered for next year’s race 🤣 even though I don’t know how it will fit into marathon plans or other travel plans 🤷‍♀️…I ran it 4 weeks after Vienna for fun and fun it definitely was! 🎉🏃‍♀️🇬🇧 I actually don’t remember the last half I ran and this one was HUGE- 24,000 runners! But it didn’t feel too congested and was well supported- so many enthusiastic spectators! #hackneyhalfmarathon #hackneyhalf @hackneymoves #halfmarathon #londonrunner #instarunner #longrun

Vienna City Marathon 2023, marathon #41! It was a Vienna City Marathon 2023, marathon #41! It was a challenging one for me, the heat/sun (though not as sunburned as Boston 2022!), tummy troubles, painful side stitches (which can be from over OR under hydrating?) . But I’m proud of myself for sticking with it for the full 42km. The support was great, pretty flat course, LOVED that they played Blue Danube Waltz at the start line 🎼

Love for the marathon still strong 🏅🇦🇹❤️ Next up, Marathon du Médoc (def just for fun) and then Dublin!

I’ve been to Paris a few times before but it was fun to experience it again with my family!
