Happy Tuesday friends! I’m linking up with Kim from Kooky Runner and Zenaida for their Tuesday Topics link-up. The official topic of the week is "What did you learn from your worst race?" but instead I'm sharing a list of ways to know you're a Twin Cities Runner! Weekly Recap: One Week Until the Oklahoma Marathon
Just one week to go until my 37th marathon! For a full list of the marathons I have done, check out THIS PAGE. Last week, I mentioned how my shin was super sore after Saturday's long run. I took a bonus rest day on Sunday and magically, the pain went away! I mean, I did also ice, stretch, and ice some more, but I am confident I made the right choice by resting instead of running on Sunday. Continue Reading

Here's how training went this past week: Monday: Very early 9 miler (back to alarms Continue Reading

I tried to make the most of it this week! Here’s how training for the Oklahoma marathon went: Monday: 9 morning miles, 9:14 min/mile average followed by a 30 minute yoga session for a work thing. I did about an hour stack of Continue Reading

I was there to cheer for Dustin; I walked with him from our hotel to the shuttle buses, and then headed out for my own run, which ended up being 8.5 miles. I watched the marathon from my hotel room on Continue Reading
