Quite Possibly My Slowest 19 Miles Ever.
Well, that was ugly! I'm two weeks behind in my weekly recaps of workouts (I plan to catch up tomorrow) but this was a big week in training for Tokyo with over 60 miles of running. Next week, I will cut back pretty drastically before getting up over 60 again. So I went into today's long run on tired legs with some tough workouts and lots of miles. Additionally, I went out for dinner and Continue Reading
Fits on the Road: The Phi Phi Islands
"Travel is the only thing you can buy that makes you richer." I have really enjoyed my travels so far in SE Asia (in the past and on this trip.) It's such a fascinating and beautiful place. If you missed my previous post about my short Christmas trip to Phuket (pronounced POO-KET), you can catch up here. As 2014 comes to a close, I thought I should look back at the 10 most popular posts at the Right Fits of 2014. In October, I made a big change to the blog design and unfortunately, I lost a lot of readers. I'm hoping some of you find your way back, but even if you don't, I'll just keep on writing...because I really like doing it. It's my online journal. It's my creative outlet. And this year Continue Reading
Fits on the Road: Phuket, Thailand
Phuket, Thailand was pretty amazing. Beautiful beaches, cheap and amazing food, friendly people, fascinating culture...I only got a quick taste of it, but I definitely recommend it. Before I left Singapore to fly to Phuket, I was second guessing whether I should have spent the money to go there on my own. It seemed like kind of a waste. But now that I am back I can say it was totally worth it. Continue Reading
